This is a Filipino noodle dish second to rice, a sauteed rice sticks, followed by it's ingredients. And this is the dish that Filipino always presented in the table, perfect for merienda. My pancit bihon guisado, is different from other pancit guisado this is simple but tasty & delicious.
Ingredients:
1 pack bihon
2 tbsp. cooking oil
3 gloves garlic minced
1 medium size onion sliced
5 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. msg
Free range chicken meat (thick cut)
Assorted vegetables
2 Bell Pepper sliced
Green onions chopped
Ground pepper to taste
3 cups water
Instructions:
1. In a pan : heat oil and saut'e garlic. onion then stir, slowly add the chicken cut and stir together cook until tender.
2. Slowly add water to continue tenderize the chicken meat, continue boiling.
3. Add the soy sauce. and the rice noodles. until the broth absorbed by the noodles.
4. Put the vegetables to the rice noodles and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove from fire.
5. Add the ground pepper to taste, mix and transfer to a serving plate . garnish with chopped spring onions.
6. Serve while it's hot!
